About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Maersk Unified Asset Management team you will play a pivotal role inshaping how Maersk manages its technology assets across the arebuilding anAPI-first cloud-native platform to catalogue all technology assets integrating COTS platforms with custom microservices andrich user interfaces. Were seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend/UI skills who thrives on deliveringrobust scalable applications with rich user experiences. Youll work across the stack but your deep expertisein frontend technologies will help set the direction for intuitive high-performance UI frameworks. You will driveengineering across theteam while mentoring junior developers and actively participating inarchitectural decisions and product evolution.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable full stack solutions with a focus on intuitive responsive and accessible
frontends.
Deliver high-quality maintainable code in both frontend and backend environments (Java Spring
Boot React/Angular/Vue).

Use React with modern CSS (e.g. CSS Modules Tailwind or Styled Components) to build
responsive UIs. Component structure hooks usage testing (Jest/React Testing Library).
Ensure the frontend is PWA-compatible by implementing service workers manifest files and offline
capabilities.
Lead architectural discussions and ensure cohesive scalable integration between frontend and
backend components.
Mentor junior engineers conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Contribute to UI/UX decisions in collaboration with designers and product managers.
Define and enforce testing strategies including unit integration and end-to-end UI testing.
Represent the Asset Management team at internal and external tech forums.
Participate in hiring activities and help scale a high-performing engineering team.
Required Skills and Experience
5 years of full stack development experience including strong frontend/UI development expertise.
Proficiency in Java / Spring Boot for backend services.
Expertise in one or more modern frontend frameworks (preferred) Angular or .
Solid understanding of HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript/TypeScript responsive design accessibility and
browser compatibility.
Experience in integrating APIs and building dynamic data-driven UI components.
Proven experience in microservices architecture and event-driven systems (Kafka or similar).
Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure
DevOps).
Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure required; AWS/GCP a plus).
Solid understanding of testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (Jest Cypress JUnit etc.).
Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like Domain Driven Design CQRS and Event Sourcing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
