Job Goal

To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency cleanliness and friendliness.

Essential Functions

Performs tasks assigned by manager using equipment safely and properly.

Assists cooks as assigned by manager.

Assists in cleaning tables furnishings and floors in dining and kitchen areas.

Assists in receiving and storing food items etc.

Assists in maintaining storage area and inventory.

Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.

Assists when needed in serving students and staff members.

Operates dishwashing machine during meal.

Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of personnel.

Days Employed:	188 per school year
Range:	$14.00per hour
Beginning Salary	$14.00 per hour Exception: JPS employees should refer to the Classified Employee Pay Scale Rules of Administration and Implementation.
