Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design review and management of Baggage Handling Systems from inception to commissioning.
- Review the design and supervision of HVAC Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems ensuring alignment with international and local codes and project requirements.
- Review and evaluate mechanical calculations for HVAC FLS and Plumbing disciplines.
- Conduct project design reviews of MEP systems from the concept design phase through construction and tender phases.
- Review and approve material submittals ensuring they align with project specifications and adhere to delivery timelines.
- Supervise mechanical construction activities monitoring the progress and quality of work.
- Reviewing contractors and consultants prequalification requirements as well as suppliers performance for Mechanical related items.
- Reviewing the contractors communication pertaining to topics such as change orders agreed-upon variation values timeline extensions and claims and offering essential counsel to the project manager concerning these matters.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in mechanical engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role preferably in airport development projects.
- Substantial experience in the design and supervision of HVAC Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
