Being a division in Toll Group Toll Government & Defense provides specialised logistics services across warehousing and distribution relocation services and outsourced sourcing and procurement services.
The Role
The Senior Project Manager position is part of the Toll Government and Defense IT Solutions & Service Delivery team responsible for planning and delivering strategic technology applications and related change for operational and customer facing solutions while optimising cost and quality.
As the Senior PM you will be accountable for supporting and managing a range of IT Projects end to end: defining the approach to delivery planning resource and timelines and maximising benefits to Toll and Customer. The PM is responsible for managing and driving the project lifecycle end to end from requirements through to benefits tracking including planning budgeting scheduling and reporting through to risk management and mitigation.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months based in Melbourne.
To be successful as a Senior Project Manager you will need to:
- Lead the Project Delivery Teamand ensure robust planning budgeting risk identification and management.
- Accountable for delivering projectsto agreed business outcomes ensuring alignment with Toll IT and Business Strategy.
- Define and implement the right approachto deliver project scope within budget and timelines.
- Mentor and coach the project team including business analysts operations SMEs and supporting IT functions to develop capability.
- Ensure resources are available(people systems financial) to deliver projects and actively encourage innovation and change.
- Collaborate cross-functionallyto solve business problems manage risks and ensure customer and business impacts are considered.
About You:
- Degree qualified / tertiary qualifications in a related field
- Agile PMI and/or Prince2 Project management certification
- 15 years experience delivering system solutions and projects in a logistics supply chain and/or operations environment
- Experience of a complex implementations
