Position: Auditor Manager
Location: Bellevue WA
Type: Full-time On-site
We are a Washington State-based CPA firm specializing in auditing accounting tax preparation and consulting services for the Affordable Housing industry. Our team supports affordable housing developers builders syndicators investors not-for-profit organizations housing authorities as well as businesses and individuals across multiple states.
Role Overview:The Auditor Manager will oversee audit engagements conduct financial assessments ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations (including HUD RD and Uniform Guidance) and manage audit teams. This role requires hands-on leadership a strong technical background and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.

Conduct financial assessments and ensure compliance with HUD RD and Uniform Guidance requirements.

Review and finalize audit workpapers and financial statements.

Supervise and mentor audit staff providing guidance and training as needed.

Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.

Strong auditing and accounting skills.

In-depth knowledge of HUD and RD multifamily housing programs and Uniform Guidance.

Familiarity with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

CPA certification required.

Experience in the affordable housing or not-for-profit sector is highly preferred.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or a related field.
