Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Foreman to oversee and manage low voltage installation projects inside mission-critical data center environments. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of structured cabling project coordination and crew supervision to ensure all systems are installed safely accurately and in accordance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage field crews in the installation of low voltage systems including:

  • Structured cabling (Cat5e Cat6 Cat6A Fiber)

  • Interpret and work from blueprints project specifications and site plans.

  • Coordinate daily tasks and schedules to ensure timely project completion.

  • Perform quality control inspections on cabling terminations labeling and pathways.

  • Interface with general contractors clients and data center personnel to resolve issues and ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Ensure all work is performed according to local code safety guidelines and company standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of materials labor hours and progress reports.

  • Train mentor and supervise technicians and installers on best practices and safety compliance.

  • Oversee tool and material usage to prevent waste and ensure availability.

Qualifications:

  • 3 5 years of experience in low voltage/data cabling with at least 1 year in a lead or foreman role.

  • Experience working in live data center environments is required.

  • Strong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards cable routing terminations and testing.

  • Familiarity with fiber optic cabling patch panels cable trays and rack installations.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working in high-security climate-controlled environments.

  • OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

  • BICSI certification is a plus.
