Job Description
Telecom - Engineering Services.
Experience and Skill-sets required.
Minimum of eight (8) years of telecommunications experience and excellent communication skills in addition to the following knowledge and experience:
- Good spoken and written English language skills and abilities.
- US Based and flexibility to work in specific time zones as needed.
- Full computer literacy; fluency with computers and software applications including spreadsheets.
- Proven experience designing or documenting rackspace and power distribution in a datacenter environment including both AC and DC power distribution.
- Experience creating network inventory templates and the accurate documentation of racks / cabinets devices and cabling.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic infrastructure including patch panels and port configurations ISP & OSP cabling infrastructure. (i.e. Riser Optical distribution frames and Splice trays).
- Strong knowledge of network inventory management systems.
- MUST have solid experience with Netcracker for Network Inventory Management
- Ability to interface effectively with 3rd party vendors and suppliers.
- Auditing and site surveying experience
- Experience with relational database principles and large data migration projects
- Ability to generate well-written and structured documents/reports.
- Ability to work independently and in a team when required.
- Strong attention to detail resourceful and proactive when problem solving.
- Ability to work in a high-pace dynamic environment adapting to changing needs.
