Job Description
Location: Insert Hospital Name
Department: Diagnostic Imaging
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Multiple shifts available)

Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams across a variety of patient populations (neonatal to geriatric)
-
Operate ultrasound equipment with precision while adhering to imaging protocols and safety standards
-
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of findings
-
Collaborate with radiologists lead sonographers and the care team to ensure high-quality imaging and diagnosis
-
Support training of new team members and provide peer mentorship (Senior role)

Maintain a clean organized and compliant work environment

Contribute to department performance improvement and service excellence
Required:
-
Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) or equivalent education/experience
-
Registered Sonographer certification (ARDMS or ARRT-S) upon hire
-
BLS Certification (AHA) upon hire
Preferred:
-
2 years of professional experience in a clinical or hospital ultrasound setting
Required:
-
Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) or equivalent education/experience
-
Registered Sonographer certification (ARDMS or ARRT-S) upon hire
-
BLS Certification (AHA) upon hire

Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Preferred:
-
5 years of progressive ultrasound experience
-
Experience mentoring junior staff or leading departmental initiatives

0.8 FTE 32 hours/week Day Shift

1.0 FTE 40 hours/week Day Shift
-
0.9 FTE 36 hours/week Night Shift

1.0 FTE 40 hours/week Evening Shift (Senior Technologist)
