Job Description
Location: Insert Hospital Name
Department: Interventional Radiology / Imaging Services
Schedule: Full-Time (Day Shift) Per Diem/On-Call (Variable Shifts)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time)
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging services team. Under the direct supervision of a physician you will assist in performing interventional and radiologic procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of various anatomic and physiologic conditions. This role is critical in maintaining safe effective and patient-centered care while also ensuring radiation safety and procedural efficiency.
You will play a vital role in the procedural team working closely with physicians nurses and technologists to provide exceptional care and precise imaging.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures

Prepare patients and equipment for procedures in accordance with established protocols

Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively to ensure high-quality results

Monitor patient condition during procedures and communicate with the healthcare team as needed

Adhere to strict radiation safety standards and ensure all safety protocols are followed

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care activities

Support a collaborative environment focused on patient comfort dignity and care excellence

Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program

Montana Radiologic Technologist license (required upon hire)

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (required upon hire)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Special Procedures Lab
