Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Travel Role)

Schedule: Monday Friday 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Holiday/Weekend Rotation Required
Athena Medtech is currently seeking a highly experienced Ultrasound Technologist to support a free-standing Emergency Room at the Albany Memorial Campus. This role involves performing a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently with no inpatient imaging responsibilities. A strong background in a variety of ultrasound modalities is required and prior travel experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities-
Independently perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Conduct a variety of exams including:

Obstetric (OB)
-
Pelvic
-
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Vascular

Carotid
-
Abdominal
-
Retroperitoneal
-
Scrotal
-
Head/Neck
-

Utilize sound judgment in the application and operation of ultrasound equipment.

Accurately assess imaging findings and assist radiologists and staff physicians in interpreting results.

Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.

Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience preferred.

Certifications:
-
CPR certification required.

ARDMS certification preferred.

If not ARDMS-certified education documentation must be provided.

Skills: Must be a dependable and adaptable traveler with strong independent clinical judgment.

MSK (Musculoskeletal) ultrasound experience is not required.
