Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist Specialist I
Status: Full-Time Evening Shift
Bonus: $10000 Sign-On Bonus
Visa Support: Not Available

Athena Medtech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CT Technologist Specialist I to join our advanced imaging team in Pittsfield MA. This evening-shift position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services ensuring accurate imaging results and prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
As part of our collaborative radiology department the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment the ability to work independently and adaptability in a fast-paced patient-focused environment. This role requires both technical expertise and a commitment to compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform a wide range of CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols

Operate and maintain CT CR/DR PACS HIS and RIS systems

Ensure compliance with all infection control and radiation safety guidelines

Deliver exceptional patient care by maintaining comfort safety and communication throughout procedures

Participate in quality control peer support and equipment troubleshooting

Provide occasional mentorship or assist in supervisory tasks as needed

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT)

Current CPR certification
-
Valid Massachusetts Radiography License

CT certification (required within 1 year of hire)

Minimum 1 year of X-ray tech experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to work independently in a clinical setting

Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
