Job Description
- Assist in admission assessments of ICU patients.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient progress.
- Perform essential medical procedures under supervision.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies.
- Collaborate with ICU team on treatment plans.
- Provide emergency interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Participate in code blue situations as a first responder.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions.
- Assist with discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Attend and contribute to medical education sessions.
- Support nursing staff in patient care delivery.
- Stay updated with current medical practices and technologies.
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Registered medical practitioner with valid medical license.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of critical care protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in emergencies.
- Understanding of ethical issues in medicine.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Competency in using medical technology and equipment.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Knowledge of pharmacology related to ICU care.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially.
- Previous experience in ICU or emergency care is advantageous.
