Job Description
Perform semiconductor engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation of the companys in house semiconductor microcontroller and related products. Responsible for assisting in the integration and debugging of NXP reference software in customer designs. Analyze design and implement systems solutions. Provide technical expertise in support of pre- and post-sales activities. Support development of fully integrated systems which may include processors peripherals communications operating systems and applications software. Technical emphasis on hardware capabilities software and systems integration. Assist Customers in evaluation of silicon and software. Develop opportunities make customer presentations and support responses to technical requests for proposal. Requires travel 4 weeks a year with 80-90% domestic travel.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science foreign equivalent or related field.
Three (3) years of experience in job offered Software Engineer Software Development Engineer or related occupation.
Required skills:
Position requires three (3) years of experience in:
- Programming languages such as C/C Arm assembly
- Linux Kernel
- Board Bringup
- Bazel
- Application program interface (API)
- Audio codecs Digital signal processing
- Debugging; and
- Pre- and Post- Silicon software.
