DescriptionCarvers on 19 located on the top floor of the Hard Rock Hotel seeks a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills composure under pressure a keen eye for detail strong organizational skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities- Warmly and professionally greet guests creating a welcoming first impression.
- Escort guests efficiently manage wait times and ensure optimal table utilization.
- Coordinate with waitstaff and culinary team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Promptly and courteously address guest inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu venue history and resort property.
- Assist with various restaurant operations including managing reservations phone calls and administrative tasks.
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining areas.
Qualifications- At least one year of experience as a host/hostess in a full-service restaurant. Fine dining experience a plus.
- Genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Strong ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues resolve issues professionally and convey information clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Required food safety certification and alcohol service licensing by the appropriate regulatory agency.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
