Job Description

We are recruiting for a permanent Wiring Assembler at a long established Electronic/Electronic Manufacturer in Blandford.

You will be joining a friendly team based at their Workshop in Dorset.

The Role:

  • Wire stripping crimping screw terminal fitting occasional soldering
  • Follow circuit diagram
  • Wire all components
  • Ensure wiring accuracy according to the circuit diagram
  • Accuracy integrity and neatness are essential

The Person:

  • Essential skills:
  • Control panel wiring experience is essential;
  • You must be able to understand electrical drawings;
  • Previous use and experience with hand tools;
  • Minor Soldering;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English;
  • Excellent attendance levels and attitude;

Hours:

Working hours: 36.5 hours per week

09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday

09:00 to 16:00 Friday

Salary:

12.21 per hour to start with progression opportunities

Occasional overtime is paid at x1.3 Monday to Friday and

x1.5 at weekends.

Commutable from Bournemouth Poole Weymouth Dorchester Salisbury Yeovil.
