This course will examine the application of basic principles of marketing the sport and recreation industries. It will entail both comparison and contrast of mainstream marketing practices of sport and recreation. Emphasis is on critical analysis of marketing theories as it applies specifically to the sport and recreation industries. Topics will include: the unique nature of sport and recreation marketing consumers and their behaviours product planning distribution pricing and promotion; strategic planning and sponsorships.Posting limited to:

Exigences / Requirements:
Matrise (ou quivalent) en activit physique (Gestion du sport) domaine connexe ou MBA (ou quivalent) / Master (or equivalent) in Human Kinetics (Sport Management) related field or MBA.
Prfrence accorde aux candidat(e)s ayant de lexprience en marketing dans lindustrie du sport ou du loisir. / Preference will be given to candidates with marketing experience in sport or leisure industry.
Exprience en enseignement universitaire est un atout. / Experience teaching in a university setting is an asset.
