The Internship Program:

This Internship opportunity is for the FALL SEMESTER 2025 (August - December). KMOV has Internships available in the News Department and for Great Day St. Louis. Students will rotate through a variety of roles in each department.

As a paid intern you wont sit and watch someone else doing their job. Grays intern program is an immersive experience where you serve as a valued team member to our award-winning teams.

With 113 television stations across the U.S. Gray Media offers an unprecedented opportunity for students to learn an area of broadcast expertise from seasoned professionals in the business. Whether your interest involves news production sales marketing or engineering our stations become a hands-on learning environment for Gray Media interns. If we have an employee doing it there can be a Gray intern learning and earning.

Not only will you walk away with an expanded resume and portfolio but Grays paid internship opens doors to begin your full-time career with Gray Media. Many of our current employees started as interns. Our paid internship program puts you at the front of the line for full-time job openings armed with the training you received from your internship.

Intern pay rate can range from minimum wage in your state to $15 an hour.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Be currently enrolled in a college/university (preferred Junior/Senior)
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Earning a degree in Journalism/Communications News Sales Marketing Engineering or related fields with a desire to get hands-on experience in the broadcasting & digital field. We give preference to Juniors or Seniors who have taken some related coursework.
