Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Commercial Lines Producer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines. This role requires strong sales negotiation and relationship-building skills to effectively grow the client base and increase revenue.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients in need of commercial insurance coverage.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including business owners decision-makers and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with underwriters and risk management specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions for clients.
- Effectively communicate insurance products services and coverage options to potential clients.
- Negotiate and finalize insurance contracts and agreements that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Keep abreast of industry trends changes in regulations and market developments to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Insurance Producer with a focus on commercial lines.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and industry best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
