Job Description
- Coordinates with the high school Agriculture Program to develop an instructional pathway that aligns to the needs of the overall program.
- Plans and collaborates as an Agriculture Department to develop a program of study that meets the needs interests and abilities of students.
- Leads studentsin a program that combines hands-on experiences with classroominstruction and leadership development through the Future Farmers of America.
- Utilizes knowledge of animal science horticulture and ag mechanics to introduce middle school students to the AgricultureProgram.
- Meets and instructs assigned classes at location and time designated.
- Establishes clear objectives for all classroom activities and communicates these objectives to students.
- Utilizes effective classroom management strategiesto create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity level of the students.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students equipment materials and facilities.
- Maintains accurate complete and correct records and abides by district policy.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
