You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Assistant Middle School Principal plays a key role in supporting the Principal and fostering an environment of academic and personal success for all students. This leadership position involves assisting the Principal in multiple areas as designated by the Principal and district leadership. The Assistant Principal acts as a continuous learner modeling leadership professional growth and a commitment to excellence for both staff and students.
Assistant Principals encourage reflection collaboration and the use of strengths to address challenges. This is a supervisory role and includes the evaluation of teachers and staff.
Ensure high-quality content for professional learning across the school and district
Promote professional knowledge-sharing among staff
Support instructional best practices and data-informed teaching
Design and deliver ongoing professional development opportunities
Collect organize and analyze data for instructional planning
Provide technical support for programs and initiatives
Support PLC (Professional Learning Communities) MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and RTI (Response to Intervention) teams
Collaborate with teachers to co-plan co-assess and co-instruct small groups
Address student needs through data-driven instructional interventions
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Masters degree in Education and/or Building Level Administration
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Proven ability in teaching data management technology integration and leadership
Strategic thinker capable of driving transformative change
Strong knowledge of instructional best practices and Indiana Academic Standards
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
Demonstrated success in instructional design curriculum development educational leadership and school operations
