Job Description
Present in Italy since 1909 Air Liquide is the market leader in industrial gases and related services and technologies. Using an industrial and commercial structure spread throughout the country and a pipeline network of 600 km Air Liquide Italy supplies around 100 thousand direct and indirect customers from large companies to small artisans.
Air Liquide Italy has three Business Lines:
- Large Industries: provides techical gases and related products in an enlarged offer with high added value for large industrial customers by means of specific delivery systems (pipelines)
- Industrial Merchant: develops the production and sale of liquids and conditioned gases manages the on site production and services for industrial customers.
- Electronics: develops the market related to high purity gases for the semiconductor industry.
Through innovative technologies and services Air Liquide Italy offers high value-added solutions that improve both industrial performances and environmental impact.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
The Energy analyst will work within the SIO Energy Optimization team and work together with the Italy Energy Management team on specific local missions. These missions include :
ISO 50001 Energy Management certification with related activities including mandatory energy diagnostic
Energy Optimization missions for Italy including nominations follow-up flexibility strategy and incorporation of new sourcing
Support on energy management responsibilities such as contract management regulations overwatch performance analysis
Support on Cluster energy optimization responsibilities such as data management opportunities analyses operational performance analysis
Results expected
Gap analysis between the current energy mng system and a certified energy mng system
Automation of global & specific KPI provided in the energy audits @ site level
Follow-up energy efficiency investments individuated by last energy audits
Energy operations daily follow-up on production planning nominations energy mechanisms usage and optimisation
Are you a MATCH
Candidate Profile:
Engineering or Business School background (Field of specialization: Energy climate power engineering business finance)
Ability to analyze and understand complex problems.
Ability to speak and write in Italian.
Ability to speak and write either in French or English.
Bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering or science preferably related to energy or business.
First experience in energy markets or industrial energy management.
Strong data analysis skills from data cleaning to clear visualizations.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to rally teams around shared goals.
Ability to juggle multiple work-streams in a fast-paced environment.

1-2 years of work experience
Italian is mandatory
French or English are an asset
Position based in Milan Italy for an initial period of 12 months extendable once.
