Job Description
This is maternity coverupto 31 March 2026.
Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service (SDAS) provides a range of excellent specialist domestic abuse support services including the community based outreach support team the refuge and other safe accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse recovery groups and peer support. You would be part of the outreach team.
Youll have experience in:
- Working in a front-line service with individuals in crisis situations
- Risk assessing
- Safety Planning
- Dealing with confidential information and recording onto electronic system
- Dealing with high call volumes and gathering of information
Youll have these skills and attributes:
- Demonstrating an understanding of domestic abuse issues across all diverse families
- Excellent effective communication skills
- Ability to successfully juggle conflicting priorities
- Strong engagement skills; building relationship and networking opportunities with collaborative partnership agencies

This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
