As a COTA with Greenfield youll play a key role in helping residents regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities. Youll work closely under the supervision of an occupational therapist providing therapeutic interventions that make a meaningful difference in residents lives.

COTA responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist

  • Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing grooming and feeding

  • Implement therapy interventions focused on increasing independence safety and quality of life

  • Accurately document treatment sessions and resident progress

  • Motivate and support residents through compassionate and skilled care

  • Collaborate with the therapy and interdisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded resident support

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
