Overseeing all daily operations and procedures regarding student affairs student discipline attendance calendar athletics and co-curricular activities including the hiring and dismissal of personnel through the consultation of the president asst. principal and/or athletic director.
Establishing and nurturing a culture of service among students and teachers reflecting Catholic social teachings.
Consulting with the president regarding financial affairs and board relations ensuring compliance with business policies and maintaining school records.
Work collaboratively with the pastors and principals of the Genesee County Catholic Schools (GCCS).
Developing and maintaining relationships with other agencies organizations associations etc. to further the mission and operations of the school.
The desired candidate for the position in a school of the Catholic Diocese of Lansing is a practicing Catholic actively involved in parish life. The desired candidate holds a M.A. (or equivalent) in an educational field (educational leadership preferred) is currently certified (or readily certifiable) as a Michigan teacher and is eligible for Michigan Administrative Certification
Certification:The desired candidate has at least five years of administrative and teaching experience can effectively serve as a faith leader and instructional leader of the school is capable of formulating and administering the curriculum and can adroitly oversee the schools co-curricular programming.
A candidate must provide a cover letter statement of faith* resume at least three letters of recommendation transcripts and contact information for professional and personal references.
