Job Title: Floor Technician (w/ experience)
Location: St Pauls Baptist Church 4247 Creighton Road Richmond VA
Shift: Wednesday - Thursday 4pm - 7pm Every Sunday 8am - 2pm

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic excellent attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and organization. As a Floor Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that all floors within our facilities are clean sanitary and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep mop vacuum and scrub floors on a regular basis.
- Strip seal wax and buff floors as needed.
- Clean and maintain floor surfaces including tile carpet hardwood and laminate.
- Remove stains and spills promptly.
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as floor buffers scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.
- Inspect floors for damage and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed including restrooms common areas and outdoor spaces.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role required.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as furniture and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
