Salary:35235 - 39513 per annum (Grade 8)

About You:

Were looking for someone who is:

  • is recently qualified (or within the last two years) with a Social Work degree and registered with Social Work England (or be registered by August 2025)
  • Passionate about safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and families.

This is an essential car user post and the post holder is expected to be able to drive and have a car at their disposal. However in certain circumstances consideration may be given to applicants who as a consequence of disability are unable to drive.

You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with the Social Care Council. For Social Worker/Care Manager positions where non social worker qualifications are accepted registration is not required and you will be appointed as a Care Manager.

The post you are applying for is covered by theRehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure. Further information can be found on the Our Recruitment Process tab.
