Self-Direction DSP - Minoa Area (Job #ES- BC)
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Minoa
NY area with 33-year-old man who has Autism and Mental Health Diagnosis. He is looking for
a dedicated individual to provide him with transportation support and assist him with working
on Social/Communication Skills and life skills both at home and in community settings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to Transporting after work and/or to medical
appointments Shopping eating at restaurants meal preparing supervision at home and
household chore supervision with prompting of encouragement and praise.
We are looking for individuals who has experience in the field reliable patient great
communicator enthusiastic and able to work independently. Reliable transportation is required
for this position. Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted
prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Hours: Monday Wednesday Thursday and Fridays.... Hours will be flexible depending on his
work schedule. Some days may require picking him up from work to start services while other
days may be starting at his family home.
Payrate: $21 an hour
