Job Description
Technical Service
Conduct Inspections and Preventive Maintenance (IPM) safety inspections (ESI) and operation verification procedures (OVP) on highly complex healthcare technology (biomedical equipment) and systems
Perform and manage the including but not limited to assembly installation adjustment and testing as well as addressing the risk of cybersecurity and updating of intricate biomedical equipment and systems
Inform leaders of the status of projects technical activities and customer concerns
Collaborate and support customers in clinical and non-clinical environments providing timely and professional communication to support patient safety business operations and agreements
Collaborate with subcontractors vendors and service technicians to ensure complete documentation and proper service delivery
Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
Lead special projects which may including traveling to support other regions needs
Act as a subject matter expert on fleet spanning high value and high-risk healthcare technologies
Act as a respected and knowledgeable resource for clinical technical support & leadership staff

Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP) as well as other THR and THR HTM policies and procedures
Ensure timely accurate and complete documentation of service events projects and other metrics.

Account Relationship Management
Grow and maintain professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff patients and visitors and external contributors and partners.
Provide professional and timely status updates with customers
Serve as an ambassador for HTM by integrating THRs core values HTMs mission and vision into each interaction and daily work

Inventory
Perform periodic validation of current inventory
Perform the security analysis for new equipment and on a periodic basis thereafter
Perform Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices including trial and evaluation rental and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory
Ensure accurate equipment database management including inventory maintenance schedules nomenclature and service history
Provide recommendations on the inventory
10%EducationAssociates Degree in electronics engineering or relevant-field Req Or
Other Military experience in electronics/biomed Req Or
Bachelors Degree in engineering or engineering technology PrefExperience5 Years Minimum experience working with Biomed equipment in a clinical engineering environment. ReqLicenses and CertificationsDL - Drivers License Upon Hire Req And

Complex computer skills required including the ability to administrate a system interpret error codes defragment hard-drives replace power supplies interpret computer codes and apply networking concepts
Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
