Job Description

Fraser is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to support the Director of Fraser School in daily operations and serves as the lead coordinator in the Directors absence. In this role you will ensure the quality of business operations through responsibilities such as daily staffing hiring onboarding staff development and childrens scheduling. Provides leadership in the onboarding process for all new Fraser School employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of Fraser School including ProCare Software Management
  • Serve as Opening Coordinator. Complete daily staffing each morning including checking the teacher absence line assigning full-time and part-time float staff to classrooms and calling for temporary staff if necessary.
  • Create and manage staff schedules (overall and weekly) including PTO and time off requests.
  • Assure that a high standard of quality programming is maintained through frequent staff meetings and observations.
  • Assure compliance with division policies and rules and regulations including Department of Human Services (DHS) Rule 3 Fraser Policies and Procedures National Early Childhood Program Accreditation Bloomington Department of Health.
  • Communicate with float staff to determine weekly schedule. Assign float staff to any long-term substitution needs.
  • Supervise toddler classrooms float and toddler staff members.
  • Manage the job posting interviewing and onboarding process for new staff. Provide initial orientation. Set up Personnel file and assure complete within one week of hire.
  • Complete licensing documents related to staff schedules.
  • Assist in the development and application of procedures as they relate to issues at Fraser School.
  • Assist with updating the staff and parent handbook as appropriate.
  • Encourage open communication with families and process concerns pass on compliments as well.
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork within the Coordinator team and with co-workers throughout Fraser.
  • Participate in and assist in conducting staff meetings in-service training supervisory and leadership trainings as necessary.
  • Support management of Staff Development opportunities. Manage staff development accounts; Teaching Strategies Gold Develop. MN Elan and others as necessary.
  • Oversee Fraser School SharePoint site.
  • Find new ways to be even more meaningful effective and efficient for our families staff and partners.
  • Keep current with regard to legislation rules and other regulatory issues that affect service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or closely related field.
  • Meet Minnesota state and NECPA qualifications for a teacher required.
  • Current Minnesota licensure in Early Childhood Education preferred.

  • Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Valid Minnesota Drivers License with acceptable record required.

Location Schedule & Pay:

  • This position will be located at Richfield MN
    • Fraser School
  • This is a full-time benefits-eligible position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with one day per week scheduled to close at 6:00 PM
  • The salary range for this role is $58000 to $62000
