Full time starting salary is normally in the range 27166 to 28768 with potential progression once in post to 32145

Grade: 4

Full Time Fixed Term contract up to January 2027

Background

The role will work in the Institute of Translational Medicine (ITM) a world class clinical research facility and a component of the Birmingham Health Partners.

The post holder will support a variety of research projects within the ITM Research First Team. The post holder will undertake a variety of roles including the distribution of study packs and questionnaires to study participants entering data into bespoke study databases and raising/responding to queries from participants and research sites either by email or telephone. The post holder will work closely with existing Data Managers and Research Co-ordinators to ensure the successful delivery of the research.

Role Summary

Data Administrators will provide proactive and important support for the effective delivery of research in the will be involved in all aspects of data collection management and verification and accurate input and reporting including undertaking regular checks to validate and verify will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of procedures and protocols.

Planning and Organising

You will be responsible for the management of data and providing administrative support in a defined will be responsible for managing your own workload and for planning and prioritising your work to ensure you meet agreed deadlines.

You will be expected to solve most day to day data management and administrative queries without referring to your will however have access to guidance and support as will need to consult others when dealing with complex queries.
