Vous tes un expert en comptabilit financire avec de lexprience en gestion. Vous possdez une solide exprience en gestion de la performance et en coaching ainsi quune grande capacit dadaptation. Vous serez responsable de diriger tous les aspects des cltures mensuelles trimestrielles et annuelles pour un portefeuille important avec une quipe de professionnels sous votre supervision. Vous participerez galement des projets et initiatives stimulants visant amliorer continuellement les processus et les procdures.
Dans ce rle vous allez :
Veiller ce que votre quipe excute le processus de clture de fin de mois de manire efficace et sans erreurs; lefficacit de votre quipe sera optimale.
Avoir une quipe engage et motive.
tre un membre de confiance de lquipe de gestion comptable ainsi quune personne-ressource au sein du personnel.
Ce que vous apportez :
7 ans dexprience en comptabilit financire avec des rles ayant volu en responsabilits une prfrence sera accorde aux candidats ayant de lexprience en immobilier commercial.
Minimum de 3 ans dexprience en gestion dune quipe de professionnels comptables (3 personnes ou plus).
De solides comptences en leadership et en mentorat.
Un esprit dinitiative et dautonomie.
Un niveau avanc en Excel.
Une connaissance pratique du logiciel Yardi.
La matrise du franais (parl lu et crit) est imprative.
Comptences et expriences supplmentaires (atouts) :
Dsignation CPA et baccalaurat en finance ou dans un domaine pertinent.
Connaissance des principes comptables gnralement reconnus (GAAP) souhaite.
Exprience au sein dune entreprise publique considre comme un atout.

About You
You are a financial accounting authority with management experience. You have strong performance management and coaching experience and the ability to be adaptable. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the month quarterly and year end closes for a sizeable portfolio and will have a team of professionals reporting to you. You will also take on exciting projects and initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures.
In This Role You Will
Your team will be able to complete month end close process efficiently and with no errors; your teams efficiency will be optimal.
You will have an engaged and motivated team.
You will be a trusted member of the Accounting Management team and a go to member of staff.
What you bring
7 years of experience in Financial Accounting in roles growing in responsibility - preference will be given to those with commercial real estate experience
3 years minimum experience managing a team of Accounting professionals of 3 or more
Strong leadership and mentor abilities
A self-starter who can take ownership and initiative
Advanced level of Excel skills
Working knowledge of using Yardi software
Fluency in speaking reading and writing in French is imperative
Bonus skills and experience
CPA Designation and Bachelors Degree in Finance or a relevant field
Knowledge of Generally Applied Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred
Experience at a Public company is an asset
