About Us:
Novita provides early intervention rehabilitation therapy assistive technology and disability services to more than 6000 people living with disability as well as support for their families and primary purpose is to enable kids young people and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.

About the opportunity
We have multiple Casual positions available in our supported independent living accommodation located across the North and North Eastern suburbs. A wide range of shifts are available including weekdays weekends overnight shifts and 24/7 rosters.
About the role
As a Support Worker you will be working with our clients to promote independence skill development and community engagement through a person-centered approach.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Personal care and following clients care plans
- Medication Administration
- Bowel Care
- General assistance with daily activities
- Lifestyle support shopping and preparing meals
- Encouragement and support to realise goals;
- Empowering clients to make decisions and make their own choices
- Community Participation and engagement
- Accurate record management
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about adding value to our clients lives who can share common interests and activities that include but are not limited to:
- bowling
- swimming
- art and craft classes
- going to the beach
- sporting events
Skills And Experiences
What you will need
- Certificate III or higher in Disability Individual Support or similar community services qualification.
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or DHS Disability Screening
- Reliable car and a full South Australian drivers licence

Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15900 of your salary increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses accommodation and venue hire private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
