We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Advisor to join our Retirement & Private Wealth team in our Glen Allen VA office.
The selected individual will be an integral part of the Advisor Services Team and will provide financial planning and advice services directly to retirement plan participants. Future opportunities to advance within the Advisor Services Team and throughout Hub may exist.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide goals-based financial planning and advice services to retirement plan participants
- Develop financial planning recommendations and investment advice for individuals
- Answer questions from retirement plan participants about the 403(b)-retirement plan retirement plan
- Conduct in-person and virtual group presentations for retirement plan participants
- Complete necessary paperwork to establish managed account(s) as applicable
- Perform client reviews with participants who have engaged Millennium for our managed account solution reviewing financial plan and investment accounts
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone written correspondence or in-person for financial plan updates account maintenance requests and other functions as needed
- Maintain strong relationships with the plan sponsors of the retirement plans we work with
- Overnight travel is required with travel expenses paid for by Millennium
- Generating your own prospect list is not a requirement of this position
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in the financial planning profession preferred
- Experience working directly with retirement plan participants preferred
- Bachelors degree
- Currently holds Series 65 or ability to pass necessary securities license exam(s)
- Candidate for the CFP exam willingness to meet the requirements to sit for the exam or willingness to obtain another fiduciary designation
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with consistency and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to think critically and problem solve in a rapidly changing environment
- Passion for helping others achieve their financial goals

The expected salary range for this position is $60000 to $80000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
