Job Description
Title: Kubernetes Engineer
Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Potential for Full-Time)
About the Role:
G-Research is expanding its Core Compute Platform Engineering team as part of a major platform transformation. Were seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to help design build and maintain our scalable high-performance compute infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance our Kubernetes-based compute platform.
Collaborate with platform and dev teams to define standards and onboard applications.
Ensure performance reliability and security of the platform.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical Kubernetes infrastructure.
Requirements:
Strong experience with Kubernetes and container platforms.
Deep understanding of Linux internals.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Background in DevOps SRE or Networking.
Proficiency in at least one language: Python Go Ruby or JavaScript.
Passion for open-source technologies.
