Job Description

Our client a stable Calgary-based organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their busy team.

The AR Analyst supports the coordination and oversight of client account activities including communication with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely updates related to account status with a focus on maintaining strong relationships and ensuring transactional integrity.

The AR Analyst is a key point of contact for inquiries related to account activity adjustments and payment application. This includes handling sensitive financial information with discretion and ensuring timely responses to a range of account-related requests. The position also plays a part in the maintenance of procedural documentation and supports a variety of account reconciliation and reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of account transactions within critical timeframes.
  • Support end-of-period processes by coordinating necessary adjustments and entries prior to established deadlines.
  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism in all communication and account interactions.
  • Address and resolve inquiries regarding payment activity from a range of stakeholders with clarity and courtesy.
  • Monitor and manage account discrepancies performing timely updates and corrections as required.
  • Support reporting and billing functions for specialized account needs including third-party interfaces and customized documentation.
  • Assist in the administration of external financing and billing programs ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of AR experience.
  • Proficiency in standard business software tools; experience with ERP platforms is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high level of professional discretion.
