Hourly Rate: $140 $160 plus 11%% superannuation
Security Clearance: Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline equivalent security clearance
Our high profile Government client is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join their digital division to play a key leadership role in a major whole-of-government ICT transformation initiative. Youll be working in a multidisciplinary team environment supporting the HR upgrade project as part of the wider Payroll Capability-Human Resource Management program.
Lead and mentor a cross-functional technical team to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project goals.
Design and document IT architecture and solution options.
Oversee and manage development environments and platforms.
Collaborate with developers business analysts engineers and vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Develop and review backend code and scripts using Microsoft technologies and integration platforms.
Evaluate vendor deliverables and internal project activities to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Maintain project documentation manage technical risks and provide regular status reporting.
Proven experience in architectural and solution design particularly in remediating legacy systems and delivering solutions using Microsoft technologies (.NET MS-SQL Windows Server etc).
Strong technical leadership skills with demonstrated experience in managing platform development deployment and maintenance.
Experience in Microsoft development ( C# JavaScript).
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (source control and pipelines).
Demonstrated vendor management and stakeholder engagement experience.
Experience with Linux/Unix systems (especially Solaris).
Familiarity with integration platforms like MuleSoft.
Power BI and business intelligence reporting experience.
Proficiency with reporting tools such as SSRS.

Curious collaborative and committed to understanding how users interact with digital solutions.

Strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
