Your Opportunity
Berry Streets School Based Family Services Practitioner (SBFS) role will support children in the Morwell cluster of primary schools (Morwell Park Primary School and Morwell Central Primary School) where risk has been identified but that do not yet meet the threshold for Child Protection involvement.
The SBFS model is based on providing Family Service foundation interventions. This is up to 40 hours for the practitioner to engage and plan with children and families build parent skills and sustain changes promote continuity of relationships enhanced connection to community and seamless transitions to alternative service pathways for additional supports
Your skills and experience
Previous case management experience desirable and proven ability to advocate for families to access services and resources.
Diploma qualification in Community Services Youth Work Psychology Welfare or relevant field is required with an understanding of the MARAM & Safe and together frameworks.
