Allagash Brewing Company is opening a brand-new tasting room in Scarborough at The Downs and were looking for warm attentive and hardworking Seasonal Tasting Room Associates to help us open our doors and create unforgettable customer experiences all summer and fall long.
This is a special opportunity to be part of building something from the beginning: helping shape the environment and set the tone for how our new space feels functions and flourishes. As a Seasonal Tasting Room Associate youll be at the heart of it all. Whether youre greeting guests with a smile clearing tables to make space for the next group or sharing our story of 30 years of making beer in Maine youll play a key role in helping every visitor feel like they belong.
We provide thoughtful training on our beer and other beverages our story and our service style. What matters most is your ability to stay calm and kind in a fast-paced environment communicate clearly with guests and teammates and carry yourself with professionalism. Experience in hospitality retail or customer-facing roles is a big plus as is a love for craft beverages and the community that comes with it. Because this is a new location were also looking for folks who feel excited by change and ready to grow with us.
This is a physical position that requires being on your feet for most of the day along with some bending and lifting. Our tasting rooms are at their liveliest during evenings and weekends so availability during those times is essential. We have both part-time and full-time roles available. Our seasonal period runs from June 23 to November 1. If you are able to commit to this timeframe we encourage you to apply!
We are proud to provide a team oriented culture and a strong hourly wage (22$ per hour). This is not a tipped position. As a seasonal employee you can earn Paid Time Off be able to contribute to a 401(k) with employer match use our fitness center and outdoor gear library at the Portland location and will receive a footwear reimbursement and Allagash branded clothing for our dress code.
