Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Production Associates to join our team in our Miami Gardens fast-paced healthcare laundry facility. Youll handle hospital linens feeding clean items into machines folding sorting and preparing linens for delivery to our hospital partners. We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making can act quickly and has excellent communication skills. The successful candidate:
- Ability to read understand and perform all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Sort fold and pack clean linen.
- Inspect linen to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain established productivity and quality standards.
- Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
- Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
- Keep workstations neat and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Stand walk bend twist and reach throughout the shift.
- Lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Push/pull laundry carts weighing 250600 lbs.
- Work around industrial machinery in varying temperatures and conditions (dust humidity noise etc.).
- Good analytical skills to be able to determine the number of carts required for orders.
- Ability to work in a noisy fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand walk bend stoop twist reach and stack individual items from the machine for long periods.
