Job Description Summary
The Web Editor is responsible for overseeing and publishing the newspapers digital content. This role involves managing the publications website coordinating online content with the social media manager and working closely with the editorial team to create a cohesive web presence.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities: Maintain and Update Website: Regularly update the website with articles multimedia content and features. Ensure the website is user-friendly visually appealing and consistently branded. Coordinate Digital Content: Work with editors and writers to plan and publish digital content that complements the print editions. Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility and traffic. Enhance Digital Storytelling: Collaborate with multimedia teams to incorporate visuals videos and interactive elements into online content. Experiment with new digital formats and tools to enhance storytelling. Engage with Online Audience: Monitor and respond to reader comments and feedback on the website and social media. Monitor Website Analytics: Track and analyze website traffic and user behavior to understand audience preferences. Use insights from analytics to improve content strategy and user experience. Report on digital performance and suggest improvements.

Required Qualifications
Background in journalism. Ability to maintain professionalism and uphold ethical reporting standards.
