Keck Academic and Career Advising is a comprehensive four-year program designed in conjunction with the AAMCs Careers in Medicine program to provide the resources necessary for students to understand themselves and their career goals explore the wide variety of career options in medicine choose a specialty and successfully apply for residency and participate in the Match. The career advising program is housed in the office of Student Affairs under the leadership of the Assistant Dean for Career Advising. The department is currently hiring for the Director of Academic and Career Advising to oversee day to day operations of the career advising program including specialty exploration and the residency application process. Responsibilities include:
The annual base salary range for this position is $71280.71-$85000. When extending an offer of employment the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity federal state and local laws contractual stipulations grant funding as well as external market and organizational considerations.
