Hours and Location:
This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are located at 349 North St Waterville ME 04901. Enjoy a friendly relaxed environment; this is a not a big-box retail atmosphere.
How Youll Make an Impact:
As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell youll work at the top of your license contribute to a communitys well-being and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy youll drive efficient effective and continually improving pharmacy operations while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy confidentiality and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement learning and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy teams development
- Stay informed of regulations retail pharmacy best practices and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune Oncology Hepatitis C HIV and more
- Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare

What Youll Bring
Basic Qualifications:
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of Maine state pharmacy board examination
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Maine
- Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
- Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two to three years of experience in pharmacy management
- One year of experience working with patient management programs
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- This position is moderately active and requires standing walking and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
