Responsibilities
  • Provide fast and courteous service to all Parts Clients and Technicians.
  • Answer the telephone in accordance with dealership guidelines. Solicit orders or answer questions as appropriate.
  • List and price out parts on repair orders and/or counter tickets.
  • Write purchase orders for parts from outside suppliers as required and obtain management approval.
  • Properly input lost sales into the inventory control system.
  • Provide the necessary information for special and emergency orders if a part is not in stock.
  • Maintain records of all special order parts and notify the person responsible for the order.
  • Maintain a customer back order file.
  • Maintain the special order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Maintain the warranty return parts inventory in a clean and organized manner.
  • Help to scrap parts held for factory claims with the factory representative.
  • Participate in conducting a perpetual inventory.
  • Keep your work area clean free of debris and safe.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate Sales representative or similar role track record of achievements.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a team.
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • High school degree or GED
