Nursery Manager

Salary: Up to 50000

Are you an experienced and passionate early years professional ready to lead a thriving nursery with a unique child-centred approach Our client is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their beautifully designed setting which embraces the Montessori philosophy and focuses on each childs individual development through play and exploration.

With bright spacious rooms and a stunning garden this nursery provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where both children and staff can flourish.

As the Nursery Manager youll take the lead in creating a warm inclusive and high-quality learning environment. Youll manage day-to-day operations support a talented team of practitioners and work closely with families to ensure every child receives the best possible start in life. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a progressive setting that truly puts children first.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) essential
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework early years legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on supportive approach
  • A genuine passion for child development and a commitment to inclusive holistic education

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery ensuring high standards of care and education
  • Inspire and lead a team of early years professionals providing mentoring and development opportunities
  • Ensure the setting meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements including Ofsted standards
  • Develop strong positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and feedback
  • Manage budgets and nursery resources effectively
  • Collaborate with external professionals to support children with additional needs
