The Finance Analyst is a Strategic business partner supporting Mosel Kohler and Saukville Rehlko manufacturing facilities working directly with the Director of Manufacturing Operations. The Finance Analyst responsibilities include analyzing indirect manufacturing expenses (IME) labor burden and production order costs. The Finance Analyst will understand our different manufacturing processes to partner with all levels of operations personnel to provide financial guidance and control costs. This position also works closely with the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) team on plant capacity planning and controlling data to ensure accuracy completeness and effectiveness. The Finance Analyst position plays a key role in driving the improvement of manufacturing productivity and spending control for the Power Systems North America business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead oversight and management of manufacturing variances.

  • Coordinate and complete monthly accounting close process for Wisconsin Operations

  • Analyze and investigate Burden Variance and Labor Variance to understand key drivers risks & opportunities to Plan/Forecast

  • Provide timely feedback to operations personnel that will assist in meeting targets

Support Wisconsin Operations in Financial Plan preparation including:

  • Preparing the annual cost center budgets.

  • Partner in preparation of annual production plan with focus on standard hours output.

  • Preparing burden rates for annual standard rolls

Partner with Master Scheduling/Operations Management on preparation of plant capacity reporting and management:

  • Participate in ongoing discussions to understand overall plant capacity profile to assist in assessing risk/opportunities to meet customer demand.

  • Assist in controlling accuracy and completeness of plant capacity for key input in Power Systems SIOP process; and

  • Become an active stakeholder in understanding overall plant capacity profile partnering with cross-functional Operations team to resolve any future looking bottlenecks/constraints to meeting existing/future customer commitments.

Actively engage in VAVE projects as well as assist the business to drive cost reductions partnering with cross-functional teams on the front-end of cost reduction projects. Assist in the financial analysis relating to Wisconsin operations capital projects including new: Plant/Operation/Process changes machinery & equipment and make vs buy/make analyses. Other duties and projects as assigned by Manager Finance - Operations. This may include Post Audits Ad Hoc projects/analysis balance sheet reconciliations and external audit support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree required prefer Accounting or Finance.

  • 2-3 years of financial and/or accounting experience preferred.

  • Strong Communication skills with cross- functional associates at various levels in the organization.

  • Strong systems aptitude with Microsoft programs (word excel teams SharePoint)

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms preferred.

Work Mode: Hybrid 3 days on site

The Salary range for this position is $69800-$87950 per year. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. Available benefits include medical dental vision & 401k.
