This position is a member the Finance team in San Francisco and collaborates with various members of the Finance team to support transaction processing reporting performance analysis and treasury processes. The candidate must be well rounded with respect to finance accounting treasury policies processes and systems.
An ideal candidate will support the team in all aspects and contribute with their teamwork and diligence bringing energy and new perspectives to the team. This person will use their technical skills to improve accuracy and delivery to existing and new processes.
Principal Responsibilities
Reviews subsidiary financial reporting data on a monthly basis for accuracy and ensures timely transmission of consolidated results to the Parent.
Maintains and designs reports for consolidation and monthly financial analysis as requested by management effectively using tools such as Power Query.
Prepares monthly performance analysis of subsidiaries operating results and maintains strong lines of communication with subsidiary management to stay apprised on current business developments.
Assists with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for companys shared services operations.
Supports Treasury processes including assisting the Treasury Manager with issuance of new loans loan rollovers line of credit renewals bank communications and ZBA report preparation and analysis.
Performs shared service functions as required which include but are not limited to transaction processing monthly financial closing performance analysis and supporting team members.
Manages intercompany reconciliations for consolidated reporting purposes.
Develops implements and monitors financial policies procedures and controls.
Assists in the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements for the holding company.
Performs annual JSOX controls testing.
Prepares reviews and files required statutory compliance reports.
Assists with other projects and requests as directed or assigned.
Job Specifications
BA or BS with emphasis in Accounting/Finance with 6 years of related experience
Good knowledge of accounting principles and current issues in accounting.
Advanced Excel and database skills with a good understanding and experience using the Microsoft Office suite and various accounting systems.
An ability to maintain regular contact with subsidiaries and external partners which requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
An ability to pivot from one subsidiary or system to another and work seamlessly with multiple entities.
High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
