Job Description
TPF Recruiting Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing and successful team based in Maidstone Kent.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients providing them with a mixed service across accounts tax VAT and bookkeeping.
Our client is recruiting because of growth and theyre looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team as they grow further. They have a relaxed working environment with a flexible approach and they offer a good work life balance too.
They are open to both full time and part-time applicants. Their clients are completely mixed across a range of sectors and sizes from sole traders partnerships and Ltd companies through to multi-million-pound groups.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of annual accounts and management accounts
- Meetings with clients
- Preparation of corporate tax returns
- Partnership returns & individual self-assessment tax returns
- Review and preparation of bookkeeping work and VAT returns
- Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly
Requirements
- ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- 3 years practice experience
- Experience of Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous
- Commutable from Mid Kent- Maidstone Medway Tonbridge Ashford Chatham Rochester Gillingham Faversham etc.
Benefits
- 35000 - 45000 dependent on experience and background negotiable.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
