Job Description
A leading diversified business group with core interests spanning manufacturing consumer goods and agro-processing is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Group Chief Finance Officer (GCFO) to join its executive team in Lagos. As GCFO you will partner closely with the Group Managing Director to steer financial planning risk management and capital strategy across the organization s growing portfolio.
What You ll Do
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement group-wide financial plans budgets and forecasts that align with the company s long-term growth objectives.
- Capital Management & Risk: Oversee cash flow liquidity and capital structure leading fundraising initiatives and managing credit currency and interest-rate risks.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial results identify improvement opportunities and present actionable insights to the Board investors and regulators.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure robust internal controls IFRS-aligned reporting and full compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams building capabilities in treasury asset management and group-level financial analysis.

Requirements
Who You Are
- A Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a Bachelor s degree (Master s preferred) and 10 years in management accounting or corporate finance ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Proven track record in large-scale finance leadership with strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations compliance frameworks and advanced financial modeling and forecasting tools.
- A collaborative leader who thrives under pressure and can manage complex cross-functional projects.
