Job Description

Undertaking compliance monitoring activities consistent with the Annual Compliance Plan in conjunction with other members of the Risk and Compliance Team

Assisting the Risk and Compliance Team in ensuring all other tasks outlined in the Annual Compliance Plan are completed within the required timelines.

Work with the Team to ensure annual review of Risk and Compliance policies and procedures are completed.

Engage with key stakeholders both in Ireland and across the wider group to ensure training material is appropriate for the Irish business and represents regulatory requirements while ensure training is completed within required timelines.

Assist the business with compliance queries including monitoring the Risk and Compliance mailbox in conjunction with other members of the Risk and Compliance Team

Prepare and collate data for reports for the various Boards / Committees

Displays awareness of MCFIDs Risk and Control and engages proactively with colleagues and management to identify and mitigate risk.

Displays awareness of the regulatory environment in which the firm operates and proactively escalates and addresses and breaches of these requirements.

Consistently demonstrates that the customer is at the heart of everything we do through their engagement with customers and through the resolution of queries and issues in a timely and effective manner.


Qualifications :

Experience working in compliance assurance or audit function in the financial services sector preferably in a mortgage lending/servicing environment.

Proven track record in a fast-paced environment within a financial services regulatory environment and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Knowledge of relevant rules and guidance particularly CCMA CPC and SME.

Good understanding of mortgage products and servicing and the compliance risks they pose.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and Able to use Microsoft Office (particularly Excel & PowerPoint) proficiently.

Can work independently without direct supervision and work to deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy with strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.

Compliance qualification or working toward a qualification
