Job Description

Purpose of the role: 

To be responsible for certain administrative functions and to provide general assistance to the Company Secretarial Team in respect of the work carried out on behalf of the clients of Ocorian.

Main Responsibilities 

To provide administrative support to the Company Secretaries and assist with all company secretarial matters including: 

  • Assisting in the submission of statutory filings such as Annual Validations  
  • Maintaining records on database  
  • Preparation of meeting agendas and board packs 
  • Maintaining the board meeting calendar plus minute and action point schedules and generating regular accurate reports to management 
  • Responsibility for ensuring meeting arrangements are booked 
  • Preparation of general stock exchange announcements 
  • Assist with the preparation of minutes and resolutions and taking notes where required 
  • Preparation and review of client Company Secretarial Compliance and Regulatory Reports  
  • Project work on regulatory changes 
  • Any other duties that may be reasonably required

Qualifications :

Knowledge Skills & Experience 

  • Excellent writing skills and written English. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. 
  • Good practical working knowledge Word Excel Adobe and Microsoft programmes in general. 
  • Willingness to learn different software package for building board packs inc. Board Intelligence Virtual Boardroom and Diligent. 
  • Motivated efficient and well organised. 
  • Analytical research and investigative skills. 
  • A strong work ethic flexibility and a dedicated team player. 
  • A willingness to learn develop knowledge understanding and experience within our industry.
